While the ambiance was somewhat tired, the amenities were commendable, especially the free WiFi, which unfortunately let me down during peak hours-I dare say, the connectivity struggles of the modern traveler strike again! The 24-hour front desk staff were polite, though their inability to assist with my internet woes left me longing for a more robust solution. Despite these hiccups, the hotel offered a cozy shared lounge and a delightful continental breakfast, perfect for starting the day on a positive note, especially when accompanied by family. For a traveler seeking historical depth and cultural experiences, Hotel Azuay may serve as a functional base, even if it lacks the finesse of more luxurious options.
