During my recent family trip to Hotel Azuay, I found the property to be clean and secure, a testament to the management’s commitment to guest comfort. While the ambiance was somewhat tired, the amenities were commendable, especially the free WiFi, which unfortunately let me down during peak hours—I dare say, the connectivity struggles of the modern traveler strike again! The 24-hour front desk staff were polite, though their inability to assist with my internet woes left me longing for a more robust solution. Despite these hiccups, the hotel offered a cozy shared lounge and a delightful continental breakfast, perfect for starting the day on a positive note, especially when accompanied by family. For a traveler seeking historical depth and cultural experiences, Hotel Azuay may serve as a functional base, even if it lacks the finesse of more luxurious options.
